You shipped the goods or delivered the service. The invoice fell due, then overdue. Emails go unanswered, and chasing a debtor in another legal system - in another language, on another timezone - is not what your finance team was built for. SXB Global takes that problem off your desk and works it methodically.

A route chosen for this case - pre-legal, legal or multi-jurisdiction - with a realistic cost and time projection.
Structured contact with the debtor: formal demand, commercial negotiation, or coordinated instruction of local counsel.
Settlement, asset protection or coordinated proceedings - with SXB Global managing each step and reporting back.
Funds confirmed and remitted directly to the creditor, case closed. Where the trading relationship continues, we advise on terms going forward.
Not a Law Firm. Not a Volume Collection Agency. Commercial Debt Recovery, Run Properly.
We sit between the two: commercial judgement about what a debt is actually worth pursuing, combined with the ability to coordinate authorised local counsel when a case needs it. Negotiation first; proceedings only where they serve the outcome.
Faster to start - no lengthy onboarding or partner sign-off before work begins
Cost certainty - fixed-fee and success-based structures instead of open-ended hourly billing
Commercial perspective - we optimise for money recovered, not for procedural steps taken
Relationship-aware - a negotiation-first approach where you intend to keep trading with the debtor
"Not every unpaid invoice needs a courtroom. The skill is knowing which ones do - and acting early on the ones that don't."SXB Global - Recovery Approach
Qualified coordination - not call-centre chasing; where a case needs law, we instruct authorised local counsel
Built for higher-value B2B - structured for complex commercial claims, not consumer debt volume
Genuine cross-border capacity - multi-jurisdiction coordination, not single-country chasing
Senior handling - a named case manager and structured written reporting throughout

See All GuidesIs SXB Global a law firm?
No. SXB Global is a UK-registered commercial debt recovery and receivables management consultancy. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice or legal representation, and we do not act as your legal representative. Where legal proceedings become appropriate, SXB Global coordinates the instruction of appropriately authorised local counsel. Legal services are provided by the relevant independent legal professionals; we coordinate the process and remain your single point of contact.
How long does international debt recovery take?
It depends on the jurisdiction, the debtor's posture and how well documented the debt is. Many cases resolve at the pre-legal stage within 4–12 weeks. Where the claim is disputed and proceedings are needed, it can run to several months or longer depending on the country. We give you a realistic timeline in writing after the case assessment, rather than a general estimate up front.
What documents do you need?
The core set is: the invoice or invoices, a signed contract or purchase order, proof of delivery or acceptance, and the correspondence in which payment was chased. Any payment plan agreed along the way helps too. If parts of this are missing or sit in another language, we will tell you during the assessment what matters and what can be worked around.
Which countries do you cover?
We coordinate recovery across 161 countries, with particular depth in the United Kingdom, Germany and the European Union, the UAE and wider Gulf, and across the Americas, Asia and Africa. Where a case requires legal steps, we coordinate the instruction of appropriately authorised local counsel in that jurisdiction. Every case begins with an assessment of what is realistically recoverable there.
How does your fee structure work?
We use three structures depending on the case: a fixed fee for assessment and the pre-legal stage; a success-based fee for SMEs and smaller claims; and a hybrid retainer-plus-success model for corporate clients with recurring exposure. You get the applicable figures in writing after the assessment. Where a fee is success-based, it is payable only on recovery.
Is there a minimum claim value?
We work on B2B commercial debt rather than to a fixed threshold. What matters is whether recovery makes economic sense once the claim value, the jurisdiction and the likely costs are weighed together. We will tell you plainly if a claim is not worth pursuing, and suggest the most proportionate route where it is.
